Yealink MeetingBar A25 brings AI video to focus rooms

Written by Daniel Noworatzky | Jun 3, 2026 3:06:03 PM

Focus rooms have become essential collaboration spaces for small teams, quick project discussions, and hybrid meetings that require more privacy than an open office can provide. But outfitting these compact rooms can be tricky: the technology needs to be powerful enough for professional video conferencing, yet simple enough to deploy without overbuilding the space.

That is the gap the Yealink MeetingBar A25 is designed to fill. With a compact all-in-one form factor, a triple-camera system, AI-enhanced video features, strong built-in audio, and support for both Microsoft Teams and Zoom, the A25 brings enterprise-grade meeting capabilities to focus rooms and huddle spaces.

In this article, we evaluate this intriguing new device, review its capabilities, and see how it fits in with the rest of the MeetingBar products that Yealink offers.

Focus rooms: where ideas are born

Focus rooms are small rooms that typically seat two to five people, with a table and comfortable chairs. They help participants focus on a particular task at hand by isolating groups from the hustle and bustle of normal office and workplace operation.

When taking part in focus meetings, it is often necessary to interact with remote individuals or groups, thus requiring a communication platform that is suitable for such spaces. And this, of course, is exactly where the MeetingBar A25 comes in.

Built for compact rooms, equipped for enterprise meetings

Yealink's MeetingBar A25 is ideally suited for focus and huddle rooms. It is compact and fits right into the generally tight quarters of these types of rooms. It is equipped with an advanced triple camera system, with each camera capable of capturing 4K video. It features impressive audio capabilities, with full duplex audio and AI-enhanced noise cancellation. It has a built-in 8 MEMS microphone array with a 16’ (5 m) pickup range and a 10 W speaker to faithfully reproduce the voices of remote participants.

The A25 is certified for both Microsoft Teams and Zoom and is built on Android 13 with support for the Microsoft Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP), a capability that Yealink highlights as part of its security and device-management positioning. We’ll see more about MDEP a bit later on.

MeetingBar A25 smart camera system

The device has three cameras, including an ultra-wide lens with a horizontal field of view of 151̊˚ (the widest in the current A-series lineup). This extra-wide angle is ideal for the small spaces typically supplied by these smaller rooms. The other two cameras are used for close-ups on individual speakers. Each camera offers a maximum resolution of 4K, and all are used in conjunction with a variety of AI-enabled video features.

One of these features is IntelliFocus, which displays real-time close-up shots of recent speakers, enabling remote participants to feel almost as if they are in the same room. Another handy feature is the Video Fence, which lets you define the virtual boundaries of the meeting space, so the camera only detects and frames people within the specified zone. In rooms with glass walls, open doorways, or foot traffic behind the participants, this keeps the focus on the meeting and eliminates distractions for remote attendees.

Audio capabilities

The A25’s advanced microphone array is capable of clearly picking up voice from up to 16’ (5 m) away and guarantees a higher-quality voice pickup within a range of 11’ (3.5 m), which is more than enough for most focus and huddle rooms. The microphones have a frequency response of 100 Hz to 20 kHz, which is more than sufficient for clear voice pickup in conferencing scenarios. The device’s 10 W built-in speaker has a similar frequency response of 100 Hz to 16 kHz, allowing remote participants’ voices to be clearly heard within the focus room space.

Video and content sharing

When connected to an external display using HDMI, the A25 can deliver portrait resolution of up to 4K at 30 frames per second. Content sharing can also be delivered in 4K when deployed as a standalone device and at 1080p when sharing using Teams or Zoom.

Ease of use and deployment

One of the most attractive features of the A25 is how easy it is to deploy and use. The following connection diagram from the Yealink MeetingBar A25 Quick Start Guide illustrates this simplicity.

As you can see, the device can be connected to the network using an RJ-45 Ethernet cable or wirelessly to a Wi-Fi network. If a CTP touch panel is used, it connects to the VCH port via a separate RJ-45 Ethernet cable through which it receives both power and network connectivity. The device is then connected to a display or large screen TV using an HDMI cable.

The USB ports can be used to connect a laptop or PC for content sharing or other peripherals, such as a mouse. Once connected, the A25 can be controlled through its on-screen Android interface, using either the CTP touch panel or the VCR11 remote control.

Additional noteworthy features of the MeetingBar A25

The A25 ships in two bundles that you can choose from based on your focus room needs: the A25-031 with the CTP25 touch console, and the A25-010 with the VCR11 remote control. In both cases, the A25 MeetingBar includes the following noteworthy features:

Yealink’s family of MeetingBars

The A25 is a perfect fit in Yealink’s ecosystem of MeetingBars. In the past, we reviewed the flagship MeetingBar A50 and the advanced MeetingBar A40. The A25 fills a gap in the lineup that resellers have been feeling since the A20 was discontinued in January 2025.

To better understand where the A25 fits within the lineup, refer to the comparison table below. It highlights the key feature differences between the various models, helping you choose the device that best meets your needs.

Some additional notes about the other devices of the series:

  • A10: The entry-level bar for the smallest huddle rooms, with a single 4K camera, 120˚ field of view, and no MDEP support. The A10 is the budget option for basic video conferencing in tight spaces.
  • A40: The premium small to mid-sized room bar with dual 48 MP cameras, stereo speakers (two built in), and support for expansion microphones.
  • A50: The flagship for large rooms with triple 50 MP cameras, 8× e-PTZ, and the most advanced framing capabilities in the lineup.

Why MDEP matters for enterprise sales

Microsoft's Device Ecosystem Platform (MDEP) is Microsoft's security and device management framework for Teams Rooms. As you can see from the table above, only the A25, A40, and A50 support MDEP, and this is a detail that matters more than it might appear at first glance.

Enterprise IT departments increasingly require MDEP compliance for government, healthcare, financial services, and education accounts. In these verticals, those capabilities are often non-negotiable, making MDEP-aligned platform support a meaningful selling point, especially for a compact yet highly capable device like the A25.

Conclusion

The Yealink A25 MeetingBar is a meticulously positioned addition to Yealink’s MeetingBar lineup, bringing advanced camera intelligence, strong audio performance, and simple deployment to the fast-growing focus-room category. The A25 offers a compelling balance of capability, usability, and enterprise relevance to organizations looking for a compact collaboration device that goes beyond basic huddle-room functionality.
