To maintain its leadership position in the videoconferencing hardware space, Yealink is a certified hardware partner of the world’s leading videoconferencing software providers: Zoom and Microsoft Teams, which together account for 88% of the videoconferencing software market, according to Statista and Demandsage.
We have covered Yealink’s Microsoft Teams-certified phones in previous articles. In this article, we examine Yealink’s impressive Zoom phone portfolio, highlighting the most noteworthy characteristics of these innovative devices.
Yealink’s partnership with Zoom
In 2015, Yealink became a Zoom hardware partner, which started the company on a path to developing innovative Zoom-certified communication devices that integrate with the platform. Over the years, Yealink has expanded its portfolio to include a range of desk phones and cordless DECT phones tailored to meet the needs of modern businesses, in addition to their Zoom Rooms solutions and Zoom-compatible headsets. With a focus on high-quality audio, user-friendly interfaces, and a wide variety of connectivity options, Yealink continues to set new standards for professional communication.
The “Zoom-certified” designation means that Yealink’s equipment has gone through a rigorous testing and validation process by Zoom to ensure full compatibility between the endpoints and the software, including in the areas of performance, security, and reliability.
A Yealink Zoom-certified phone will allow you to log in with your Zoom account, make and receive Zoom phone calls, join a Zoom meeting with a tap, and use native Zoom features.

Both systems are compatible with Yealink's W53H, W56H, CP930W and DD phones, with seamless roaming and handover of calls. These devices are available as part of Yealink’s Zoom phone hardware as a service (HaaS) framework. This service is designed to allow an organization to quickly get its communications systems up and running with virtually no upfront cost. It is a subscription service that allows you to build and expand your communications with the addition of Zoom-certified phones as needed. The HaaS framework does not include Zoom phone licenses, which must be purchased separately. However, it includes easy upgrades with immediate access to the latest hardware and easy scaling since all hardware and software subscriptions are included on a single invoice from Zoom.
Zoom-certified phone use cases
Incorporating Zoom-certified phones into an organization’s communications infrastructure is important for creating an integrated communications ecosystem. This means that your IP phones and all of your other Zoom-certified devices—including meeting bars, collaboration systems, and Zoom Rooms systems—are incorporated into the system. It also means you can easily communicate with your colleagues and partners using the Zoom app on their mobile devices, laptops, or PCs.
Yealink’s options for Zoom-certified phones offer more than enough variety in features to cover virtually all user requirements within an organization. These include team collaboration rooms, warehouses, common areas, front desks, open spaces, and executive, administrative, and managerial roles.
