Yealink has smartened up its IP conference phone with the CP960. This ergonomic, intuitive and exceptionally sleek conference phone adds the Android operating system and other enhancements to the Yealink CP860.
A smarter conference phone
The Yealink CP960 is based on the Android 5.1 OS. The standard and familiar Android apps, including a web browser and calendar, are already built in and additional apps can be downloaded from the Google Play Store just like on a mobile device. The OS, in conjunction with the large high-resolution touchscreen, makes the CP960 IP conference phone exceptionally versatile, upgradable and functional.
Conference environment
The Yealink CP960 is ideal for any team environment even in medium to large conference rooms. Among the codecs supported are several with the ability to both send and receive HD and wideband audio, providing for crystal clear conversations. 360-degree voice pickup by three microphones from up to 20 feet away adds to the versatility of this product. Add an external loudspeaker and two additional wireless CPW90 expansion mics if necessary and conversations can take place from even further away.
Other innovative and useful features native to Android devices include wireless and wired pairing with mobile smartphones, PCs or tablets via USB or Bluetooth for easy speed or remote dialing. Management is also made easy via a web browser or auto-provisioning with PnP or TR-069.
