It can be time-consuming to schedule telephone conference meetings, book meeting rooms equipped with conference phones, and wait for everyone to arrive before beginning. Instead of having the participants come to a meeting, with Yealink’s CP930W conference phone, you can bring the meeting to the participants!

Are you ready for a mobile workforce?

Posted by Daniel Noworatzky on Aug 15, 2018 3:55:00 PM

The U.S. mobile worker population will grow steadily to 105.4 million in 2020, according to a forecast from International Data Corporation (IDC). By the end of the forecast period, IDC expects mobile workers to account for 72% of the total U.S. workforce.

If your communications infrastructure is not set up to handle the needs of mobile workers, your business could be missing out on gains in productivity and employee loyalty. Since adequately equipped mobile workers can do their job anywhere, they can perform on the go without having to wait until they get back to their desk to implement certain tasks. A study conducted by Staples found that 76% of telecommuters are more willing to put in extra time on work and report being more loyal to their company since telecommuting.

In a 2017 PwC survey, 65 percent of respondents reported experiencing at least one crisis in the past four years. Despite their prevalence, a 2013 study by Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer found that more than 40% of respondents had no type of plan in place for dealing with a crisis.

Regardless of your customer’s current state of readiness, you can help them improve their security measures and crisis response even more with applications that run on their data network. And, if they have an on-premise IP PBX, they already have an arsenal of tools available in their existing system.
